ESAB OK 316L E316L-16 3.2x350mm 12.3Kg Box, 4.1kg Pkt Made In Sweden.

The ESAB OK 316L Welding Electrode (Part No. 6398323020) is a premium AWS A5.4 / ASME SFA5.4 E316L-16 rutile-coated stainless steel electrode designed for Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) of AISI 316, 316L, and similar molybdenum-alloyed austenitic stainless steels. Manufactured in Sweden, this electrode delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and high-quality weld deposits for demanding industrial applications.

With a 3.2 mm diameter and 350 mm length, the electrode is ideal for medium to heavy-duty stainless steel fabrication. The low-carbon (L) weld deposit minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion while providing excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical attack in aggressive service environments.

The rutile coating ensures easy arc ignition and re-ignition, stable arc characteristics, low spatter, and effortless slag removal, producing smooth, attractive weld beads with minimal post-weld cleaning. Suitable for all-position welding, the electrode is widely used in chemical and petrochemical plants, food and beverage processing equipment, pharmaceutical industries, marine and offshore fabrication, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and stainless steel piping systems.

Supplied in a 12.3 kg box containing three 4.1 kg packets, the electrodes are protected against moisture, ensuring consistent welding performance, reliable storage, and extended shelf life.
